Burt Reynolds Plastic Surgery Before & After

So you may remember Burt Reynolds from “Boogie Nights” or his much earlier role as “Bandit” in the aptly named “Smokey and the Bandit.” Do you also remember that the dashing actor was also once named the Sexiest Man Alive by “People” magazine? His handsome face graced the covers of magazines for many years, and he still gets instant star recognition. Is some of the attention that he’s received later in life due to going under the knife, though? Many people say yes!

The twice-married leading man has allegedly had both a facelift and Botox injections to his face. Let’s break that down a bit more. Although his forehead used to have a few wrinkles, it now looks remarkably smoother. His forehead looks rather like a young man’s, in fact. Also, when one looks at his jawline these days, it is different than before. Simply put, his grin is altered so that his smile line does not look quite so deep.

Yet another unpleasant thing that plastic surgery seems to have wiped away? He has said good-bye to crow’s feet that used to seem to gather under his eyes. While some expert make-up artists can make these things seem to happen before the camera during a film shoot, it is not the sort of thing that he’d likely be able to conceal naturally over a long period of time.

Burt Reynolds likely had these procedures to help smooth out wrinkles as well as to look more youthful and vibrant. While some say that he can be seen as an example of plastic surgery gone wrong, others applaud him for having the courage to keep up with the pressures that Hollywood inevitably gives any star who has lived in the public eye.
