Bob Costas Plastic Surgery Before & After

The Bob Costas plastic surgery story is pretty straightforward, although the renowned sportscaster never confirmed the rumors. Based on several before and after photos of this veteran NBC sports correspondent, however, it is quite evident that he has had work done on his face. At 61, his face is not at all riddled with lines and wrinkles, which suggests that he had facelift as well as Botox injections.

His eyes also look less droopy than they were about a decade ago, which would indicate the use of fillers and or Botox especially underneath where bags usually start to form once people hit 45 or so.

His laugh lines have become less prominent, which gives the illusion of looking about 5-10 years younger. His cheeks are fuller but much more sculpted compared to before he had any work done.

Overall, Bob Costas has shown great restraint as far as the number of procedures performed on his face. More importantly, he looks more or less like himself, albeit with much younger looking skin. Despite the lift and the fillers, his facial features remain natural, and his expressions are still fairly apparent, which is not the case for those who get excessive Botox injections.

Costas is merely one of the many media personalities who turn to cosmetic surgery to maintain their youthful appearance, if not to look younger than their actual age. Being a popular sports TV personality sure puts a lot of pressure on Costas as well as others who are expected to look great on and off screen.

This is perhaps one of the few examples of how plastic surgery can improve one’s appearance without necessarily turning into a completely different person as far as looks are concerned. Bob Costas surgery is more of an inspiration than a cautionary tale.
