Over the years, Barbra Streisand seemed to have endured the pressure to receive plastic surgery. Unlike many Hollywood starlets, it appeared that Streisand had elected to say yes to natural beauty and no to a rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job. The Funny Girl singer will turn 72 on April 24, but rumor has it that she may not have ruled out surgical ways to enhance her beauty.
In 2003, a picture of Streisand surfaced with the singer wearing a hat and a black veil covering her face. Allegedly, the photo was taken after Streisand had received a facelift.
These days, there’s speculation that more has been done to alter her appearance. According to Dr. Anthony Youn, a plastic surgeon, if Streisand seems to have a glow too youthful to be true, it may be the result of plastic surgery. Although Youn has not treated the singer, he speculates that someone else has.
I suspect that she’s had some Botox injections to her forehead, causing it to look smooth and wrinkle-free. Her cheeks appear to have been plumped a bit as well, likely from injections of a filler like Sculptra.
Barbra Streisand has entertained her way into the hearts of fans the world over, touring North America and Europe. Streisand has performed in motion pictures, film, television and on Broadway. Her vocal talents have earned her awards and nominations for both film and music. The recipient of many nominations and awards, Barbra Streisand has won two People’s Choice Awards, several Golden Globe Awards, a Georgie Award, multiple Grammy Awards and numerous other awards.
